Description
A nice little package of 3 x Folk 7" records as follows;
A rare hard to find 7” EP record IAN CAMPBELL FOLK GROUP – Ceilidh at the Crown, 8 tracks in total. Topic Records Cat No TOP 76, 1962 picture sleeve.Sleeve is a bit grubby on the reverse but vinyl appears great condition.
Rare hard to find 7” single; MATT McGINN – Magic Shadow Show - 4 track 7” issued on Moonbeam Records in 1973. Tracks are Magic Shadow Show, The Wee Kircudbright Centipede b/w Stornoway Rose, Theres A One Eyed Woman. Apart from the record itself being rare, it has a clear undedicated signature on the reverse of the sleeve which reads All Best Wishes Matt McGinn. The downside to it all is that it has a large water stain on the left hand front cover which has also affected the back and a big blue biro circle towards top right front cover. The vinyl appears to be great condition. This is all reflected in the asking price.
Rare hard to find 7” single; SHANTY-O! A Nautical Fantasy by Chetham’s Hospital Boys’ Choir. Issued on Campion Records Cat No RRV 001 and in picture sleeve, all being housed in a plastic sleeve for many years. The “b” side had!! a Mecolico 10 and ¾ sticker on it, which I believe is something to do with royalties? It came off as I was examining the record after photographing it. Will enclose it loose.
