Description
3/3 are Reck (guitar, vocals), Higo Hiroshi (bass) and Chiko Hige (drums). The name was inspired by a Japanese comic (4/4). In February 1975 ,3/3 ( Sanbun No San) released this album in a tiny pressing of 15 copies only to get a record deal. The cover was homemade and the recording sounds clear and live but, without audience. The music is ultra killer heavy guitar dominated psychedelic rock that fans of other Japanese heavy bands such as GEDO, TOO MUCH, FOODBRAIN, MAINLINER, LES RAILLES DE NUDES, FLIED EGG, SHINKI CHEN, SPEED GLUE AND SHINKI, GINBAE, HIGH RISE, BLUES CREATION, FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND, STRAWBERRY PATH( to name a few) will love. 3/3 has never released another recordingand this rerelease by the always high quality Shadoks label has brought us another HEAVY ROCK GEM. Both Reck and Hige moved to New York where they stayed for over a year and played with James Chance & the Contortions, Lydia Lunch (Teenage Jesus & The Jerks) and others (No New York movement). They returned to Japan in 1978 to start a new group which became very famous: Friction, who certainly had a big influence on the late 1970's Japanese punk and new wave scene. This album of 3/3 is the rarest underground album ever released in Japan.180 gram pressing on RED VINYL and HAND SCREEN PRINTED COVER.Copy number 368 out of 500 copies only. All Shadoks reissues are NEVER EVEN CHEAP NEW (unless you completely score a copy) and always end up being more valuable in time. VINYL is in EXCELLENT condition if not better (has only been played a few timed) Jacket is EX minus with only very less than perfect corners that got a bit bonked in postal travel . Shrink wrap is still intact .Pretty much new otherwise. Very cool obscure heavy Japanese band finally reissued - Add this to your collection just when you thought you had them all. RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP OPENING BID FOR ONE OF THESE REISSUES AND NO RESERVE!!!!ALSO A BUY IT NOW IS OFFERED WHICH IS "STILL "FOR LESS THAN IT WILL COST NEW !!!
