33CX 1515, Janos Starker's 1958 mono-only account for Columbia of Bach's Cello Suites no's 2 and 5, in a first UK issue (blue/gold labels on the record, flipbacks to sleeve rear). The record has two light scratches, a tiny one to side 1 band 1 (the Prelude to Suite 2) which barely sounds, and a longer one spread over the final two movements of Suite 5 which gives some light background ticking towards the end. Apart from that it is in fine condition, plays through perfectly and has sharp, clear sound from start to finish. The jacket, as you can see,  has some scuffing to the lower front edge, and the lower rear flipback has lifted a little to the left. Still a very nice condition record, though, but VG rather than NM.

 

I do take gradings and descriptions very seriously, and I pack and post with the utmost care, using proper professional mailing cartons and stiffeners. But even so mistakes can happen, in which case please do get back to me and we can discuss a refund or a replacement.
