Description
Here's a lot of 4 early Country record all on the 15000 series Columbia D label.FIRST RECORD is by Dock Walsh and is on Columbia label # 15094.Vocal with Banjo.Songs titled In The Pines on one side and has Going Back To Jericho on the other side.Fantastic looking record with the exception of one very small white colored pit mark on The In The Pines side.The In The Pines side has one small light non feelable scratch.No other scratches at all.Has a small amount of very light to light scuffing.Has one 3/4th inch long extremely light Lam near edge of record in between the 8 and 9 O' Clock area of record.Its very light only and not feelable at all.Has one feelable white colored groove pit mark at about the 8 O' Clock area of record.Please see picture.Looking with a magnifying glass loupe the pit mark is two grooves wide.Has a letter A lightly stamped on trail off area between grooves and label.Grooves have tons of Beautiful looking shine.The Going To Jericho side also very nice.This side has one small scratch on trail in area that can be felt lightly.It only touches the very first two grooves only.Has some light scuffing.Side has a little wear on grooves but still looks Beautiful with tons of shine.SECOND RECORD is by The North Carolina Ramblers Led by Posey Rorer.Columbia label # 15106-D.Songs titled Forks Of Sandy on one side with the song Flying Clouds on the other side.Records also very nice but does have two pretty noticeable dimple indentions on the Forks Of Sandy side Please see picture.The Forks Of Sandy side This side has 4 light scratches and also 3 small feelable scratches.Even though the 3 scratches are feelable they don't appear real deep so I don't believe they will affect play.Has some very light to light scuffing.Has three very small 1/4th inch Lams near outside edge of record.Also has those two very noticeable dimple indention spots in which one is on about the 8 O' Clock area and the other at about the 9 O' Clock area.Grooves have tons of shine.The Flying Clouds side of record has five light non feelable scratches and two very small feelable scratches.Some very light to light scuffing.Has a couple of small clusters with three feelable groove pit marks.Has two small light bumps on this side caused by the dimple spots on the other side.Small letter A stamped on trail off area between grooves and label.Has lots of nice looking shine on grooves.THIRD RECORD is by Riley Puckett and is on Columbia label # 15324.Songs titled The Moonshiners Dream on one side with the song Way Out On The Mountain on the other side.The Moonshiners Dream side has three light non feelable scratches and one very small feelable scratch.Has light scuffing.Partial needle run on label.Lots of shine on grooves.The Way Out On The Mountain side has 8 light non feelable scratches and 4 small feelable scratches.Has some scuffing with one small feelable scuff.Side has some groove wear but still has good decent shine.Most of the grooves are light gray but side also has some grooves that appear more gray than rest of side.Still has good decent shine.FOURTH RECORD is by Riley Puckett and Bob Nichols.Both songs are a vocal duet with Violin and Guitar.Songs titled Ring Waltz on one side with the song Underneath The Mellow Moon on the other side.The Ring Waltz side is nice with two very light scratches and one light non feelable scratch.Has some light scuffing.Has one very light one inch long indention spot between the 3 and 4 O' Clock area of record near end of song.Very light only and definitely will not affect play.Some wear on grooves but still has lots of great looking shine.It doesn't have much wear.The Underneath The Mellow Moon side is nice with 3 small light non feelable scratches.Some light scuffing.Some wear on grooves but still has nice shine.I have a tons of experience shipping 78s over the years so these will be wrapped Extremely Well using the cardboard sandwich method.
