Description

Offered is a lot of four Grateful Dead albums.  It should be noted that the covers smell a bit musty.  The 72-year-old I got these from said he didn't play them often, and they've been in a closet for years.  If you're still reading, here's what we've got:

"Blues For Allah", United Artists, 1975.  GD-LA494-G. White label, with center artwork on one side and song titles on the other.  Vinyl looks great.  Plain, white inner sleeve with celophane center.  Cover, with Garris artwork, is worn, with corner bumps.  Lyric sheet is present.

"Grateful Dead From The Mars Hotel", GD 102.  Blue label.  Vinyl is nice.  Cover still has shrink wrap and price sticker.

"Europe '72."  Warner Brothers, 1972.  # WX 2668.  Three albums, with tri-fold cover.  Artwork by Kelley.  Interesting little blurb with an address for the fan club.  ("Dead Heads" was already a term.)  Inner sleeves are all present, with some WB advertising on one side, and a photo of 1917 Burbank on the other.  There is a short booklet of color photos with the tour dates and ads for a songbook and GD t-shirts.  ($3.95 each!).  The vinyl has a few thumb prints, and the inside of the covers, which are all white, have some minor foxing.

Last, but certainly not lease, is "Skull and Roses", a two album set.  Warner Brothers, 2WS 1935.  1971.  As you can see in the photos, there's a gnawed corner on the cover.  There are a few visible scratches on these, as well as two spots of some unidentified substance.  These will probably need to be cleaned.

So, there you have it......an instant collection of early Grateful Dead music!  Buyer pays actual shipping, USPS media rate, to the lower 48 only.  Thanks for looking.  Be well. Pictures sell!
