Description

A nice lot by the guy who bought real Skiffle back to the UK from New Orleans to play during the intervals of his Jazz Sets.

Lonnie Donegan and Chris Barber started here but found it hard to get along with Ken and soon left the band only to be replaced by Alexis Korner! and John Bastable etc....

Ken Colyer kept true to the roots whilst Lonnie corrupted the form into music hall singing about Chewing Gum on bedposts and dustmen and the like....
