4 Rare Skip James Blues LPs Vanguard Herwin Biograph NM
Four original country-blues lps in exceptional condition. We have 3 by Skip James: "Devil Got My Woman" (Vanguard, in shrink, NM-), "King of the Delta Blues Singers" (Biograph, mono, in shrink, NM), and "Skip James Today" (Vanguard, in shrink, NM/NM-); and "Delta Blues Heavy Hitters 1928-1931" (Herwin, various artists incl James, mono, in shrink, NM). Jackets are in good shape with light wear.
The records are graded visually according to the following standards:
NM: This is our highest grading. Record should look unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks.
VG+: Record may have a few minor marks or surface scratches but none that break the surface of the vinyl. Will still be considered in excellent shape.
VG: Record will have light scratches, noticeable marks, and surface noise may be apparent. It should still play through without skipping.
VG-: We will not list records in this condition unless they are very rare.
Rough: Likewise, we will only list the rarest records in this condition.
We do not grade album jackets but only comment on them.
