Description

Very Good SOLiD copies of TWO 45's by the legendary Albuquerque, New Mexico group. 
The Chicano Soul band The Vandels.. Lead singer was the late Martin Duran. I decided to auction both of the 7 inch wonders together because they are scarcely rare ... So separating these two gems just doesn't seem right .. 
Try Me is a magnificent cover of the smash hit written and performed by James Brown.. 
All In My Mind is a beautiful cover of the hit by Maxine Brown.  
Little is known about this legendary band .. I know that they were a part of a music scene that the late great drummer Randy Castillo came out of .. 
These are both high quality 45's by Mexican-American artists who loved and performed hits by Afro-American artists that influenced them.  
If you are a serious collector/selector or rare Soul dj these heavy hitters are for you .. You won't find these babies anywhere else, not even charted on Discogs..
