TURNTABLE TREASURES uses STRICT GRADING GUIDELINES when evaluating each record. With discriminative record collectors in mind, our visual evaluations try to describe every detail no matter how insignificant. Descriptions may not actually be as bad as they sound. A VG record may surprise even the most particular record collector. Either way, your satisfaction is GUARANTEED 100%.
For our GRADING POLICIES, please visit our ebay page and click the link. 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IF NOT SATISFIED (including ALL shipping)
Records come in *plastic protective covers (100% Pure Virgin Polyethylene) and are shipped in cardboard mailers with padding.
* 78rpm records or 45s without picture sleeves do not come w/plastic covers, but come with an original or replacement paper sleeve. A Time Capsule of classic 45 rpms's from the 1960's. Hidden away for decades, each record is a rare release on its own. But what makes this collection of 45s even more unique is that all are DJ and Promotional releases from a single LA radio station. A few records even help to chronicle the local Sunset Strip music scene from the mid to late 1960s, featuring local bands now considered early pioneers of garage and psychedelic music.
Here is just one of these records now avaiable for auction in eBay: ARTIST: Cooper, Alice (band)
TITLE: Reflected / Living
LABEL: Straight # ST 101
VINYL COND: VG
LABEL COND: NM
NOTES: Standard orange Straight label with PROMO STICKER on the A-SIDE (Reflected). The a-side has two small scuffs that will probably cause pops. The b-side has a few smaller and less noticeable ones mainly at the beginning. Otherwise the grooves are in great condition. The labels are in superb condition with no visible signs of wear.
SLEEVE: Comes with an old plain green paper sleeve (seam split), but we will include a new white sleeve for free.
RELEASED: 1969 from their LP Pretties For You, on Frank Zappa's Bizzare/Straight label. Originally from Arizona, the group performed locally around the LA music scene. While still finding their style, the band hooked up with Frank Zappa and recorded Pretties for You. After another disappointing LP release, the band moved east. There they gained noteriety and a new look. Their contract was soon acquired by a new label (WB), and they quickly rose to be one of the biggest rock acts and recording bands of the 1970's. The Alice Cooper Band influenced many heavy metal and glam rock artists with their theatrical stage act, and sometimes dark lyrics and music. This song was later rewritten and recorded by the group as 'Elected', on their Billion Dollar Babies LP, released near the end of the band's peak. Lead singer Alice later moved on to a very succesful solo career. PAYPAL NOT ACCEPTED
