UK jungle awakeners 4am Kru put their 'Love On The Line', blurring their rave-rooted production with a narrative vocal collab aproach, though the extra sensuality setracts none from the banger science. Built on vocals from Layla Sibelle, it traces the arc of a relationship from excitement to fallout, all while keeping one dancing shoe firmly floored. 'Boy' and 'No Good For Me' sketch the emotional core of the story, before closer 'Hush Now' brings the arc to its quiet end, as painted r&b croak and glide through a softly-spoken yet breaks-bolstered reconcilitation.
