Zustandsbewertung (Grading):
M (mint) = Neu (new)
The record/cover is like new)
VG + (very good +) = Platte weist nur leichte Fremdgeräusche auf; Cover hat leichtere Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows very light noise; the cover shows very light wears)
VG (very good) = weist Fremdgeräusche auf; Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows light noise; the cover shows light wears)
VG - (very good -) = häufigere Fremdgeräusche; Cover hat deutlichere Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows a little more noise; the cover shows a little more wears)
(The record was played more often. Scratches and surface noise are audible)
(Yet a record rated G is still enjoyable and good to be purchased)
(Will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.)
(The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing.)
If I find it necessary and find the time, I try to listen to the records before rating and listing. So the assessment of condition is primarily acoustic! Should the condition in your opinion differ significantly [!] from the condition description I have given, please email me.
