Make no mistake, this boxed set is as definitive as any ever released by anyone. It features the renowned La Salle Quartet playing the complete string quartets of modernists Schoenberg, Berg, and Webern.
Released by DG, it was heralded by just about everyone in the musical world, and granted award after award, among them the Grand Prix du Disque, the year of its release.
Note, too, the deluxe set comes with a 150-page book, which is "A Documentary Study" that includes letters, essays, lectures, pictures and sketches relating to the music presented.
An extraordinary enterprise: Box without major fault, very handsome; the book is fine indeed; and all five LPs look unplayed.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
