US 60s PSYCH/FOLK/BLUES X 6LP's - Butterfield Blues Band / Tim Buckley / Moby Grape / Al Kooper / Big Brother & the holding company / Chicago transit Authority.

1. BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND - The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw  - 1967 Elektra EKL 4015 - UK original Mono LP on rough textured 'orange' label in laminated front and back sleeve, 1st pressing - A1 / B1 matrix (machine stamped)  - VG+/VG (Cover is fully intact and EX apart from small tear back (see close up pic) - Vinyl itself displays a few more noticeable light surface marks and hairlines - all mainly superficial and overall it still plays VG to EX throughout with some light background crackle and the odd click) 

2. TIM BUCKLEY - Happy sad - 1968 Elektra EKS 74045 - USA original PROMO on 'white' label in stickered thick card sleeve - VG+/VG- (Cover is fully intact and light to normal wear and tear - Vinyl is EX side one but side two has 3 notable marks across the surface - they are all superficial though with no affect on sound and it plays EX throughout) 

3. MOBY GRAPE - Moby Grape '69 - 1969 CBS M 63430 - UK original Mono LP on 'orange' label in laminated front sleeve, 1st pressing - A1 / B1 matrix (machine stamped) - VG+/VG  (Cover is fully intact and displays light to normal wear along spine and some light age marking back cover - Vinyl itself is EX apart from some surface 'scuff' marks across side two - these are all superficial with no affect on sound and overall VG to EX with just some minor distortion side two) 

4. AL KOOPER - I stand alone - 1969 CBS 63538 - UK original LP in laminated front sleeve with gold stereo sticker back, on 'orange' label, 1st pressing - A1 / B1 matrix (machine stamped) - VG/VG+ (Cover is fully intact and displays mainly light surface wear and marks but there is some light 'stain' marks back and the stereo sticker is partly scuffed/torn (see close up pic) - Vinyl itself displays just a few more noticeable mainly light marks and some fine hairlines - all mainly superficial and overall plays VG to EX but with some occasional notable light clicks and occasional minor crackle) 

5. BIG BROTHER AND THE HOLDING COMPANY - Cheap thrills - 1968 CBS 63392 - UK original LP on 'orange' label plus company inner bag, 2nd pressing on lighter orange label and unlaminated sleeve - A1 / B2 matrix (machine stamped) - EX/VG+ (INNER-EX+,  Cover is fully intact and displays just minor wear/creases - Inner is fully intact and near perfect - Vinyl itself displays some light surface marks and minor hairlines and a very small scratch side two, which causes a light click for 1 minute, apart from that plays EX throughout) 

Additional Notes - All items graded using the universal RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM and  PLAY TESTED. Additional gradings used, like VG+,  EX-,  EX+ etc. which I'm sure most people are familiar with. Basically in addition to the usual R.C. gradings, the following apply -

M- The record visually is virtually perfect except for the very faintest of hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is virtually perfect except for the faintest of audible noise in run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is virtually perfect except for very minor creases from handling.

EX+ The record visually is near perfect except for a few faint hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is almost perfect except for some very minor audible noise in the run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is almost perfect except for a few very minor creases/wear.

EX- The record visually is almost excellent but displays rather more noticeable hairline and very light surface marks but no scratches. Playing, the record is almost excellent but displays slightly more noticeable noise in run-ons or between tracks (crackle) plus additionally the odd minor 'pop/click'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays rather more noticeable creases/wear or slight discolouration with age but no seam splits.

VG+ The record visually displays noticeable light surface and hairline marks but only the occasional minor scratch. Playing, the record displays light crackle in the run-ons and occasionally between tracks and slight background noise, occasional 'pops/clicks'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays light-normal wear around edges, spine etc. with minor marks but no tears or major defects.
