Description

A truly fantastic bundle of vintage reggae and ska singles, most in rare picture covers. All singles are in good condition varying between VG and EX. Individual  cover faults described below. The bundle includes:

  • Trojan Explosion (TMX4006) - Pioneers, Let Your Yeah be Yeah / Desmond Dekker, 007 / Dave & Ansil Collins, Double Barrel / Dandy Livingstone, Suzanne Beware of the Devil. Cover has some small tears on top edge.
  • Reggae Hits (Hotshot / Sonet) - Pioneers, Longshot Kick the Bucket / Rico, Jumping the Gun - note the cover is a single piece of paper folded in half (same design back and front). The sides are not glued and so the single is within another poly sleeve.
  • Shawn Elliott - Shame and Scandal in the Family / My Girl (Artone / Roulette) . Some tears to top edge of cover.
  • Dave & Ansil Collins - Monkey Spanner Version 1 & 2 (Trojan 10303). Some folding / bending to cover.
  • Reggae Hits (Hotshot / Sonet) - Harry J All Stars, Liquidator / Glen and Dave, La La Always Stay. As with the Pioneers, this is a single piece of paper and not a glued cover.
  • Dave Collins - Ride Your Pony / You for Me. This cover is a single square of printed paper designed for holding inside a poly cover. Lovely condition with no tears.
  • Dave & Ansell Collins - Double Barrel Version 1 & 2 (Fontana). This is a single piece of paper folded in two with the Double Barrel artwork on the cover and a Fontana ad on the back (Belgian).
  • Greyhound - 'Moon River' b/w 'I've Been Trying' / 'The Pressure is Coming On' (Maxi Trojan). No picture cover.
  • Skatalites - Guns of Navarone b/w Bonanza Ska (Carlos Malcolm) and Napoleon Solo (Lyn Tait and the Jets). Maxi Trojan - no picture cover.
