Description
JOHN LEYTON -- I'LL CUT YOUR TAIL OFF / MAKE LOVE TO ME -- Atco 6319. (U.S.). (1964). VG++ (Excellent). This record puts a track from 1963 and a track from 1964 back to back on a U. S. pressing. The track "I'll Cut Your Tail Off" is the Joe Meek production. However, as I understand it, that track was released under Joe Meek's RGM Sound production company, but Joe himself had very little if any involvement with that track. Make Love To Me" is from 1964 and has no relation to Joe Meek. Most copies I used to see years ago of this record were the white label dj promotional copies, but I believe this actually made the Billboard Top 100 in the U.S., and this is a very scarce stock label pressing. *********************************************************************************** PLEASE wait to receive invoice before sending payment. *********************************************************************************** All records were cleaned before being strictly graded under a bright light.
