Description

Creedence Clearwater Revival "Bootleg / Funky Broadway" U.K. Emidisc stdio acetate 7" single. Please see pics and use zoom for close ups - ignore any lines down the pic, that's my scanner not the record!

I guess this must be from 1969 when this track was recorded for the "Bayou country" album. This sounds like the album cut to me, though it was never a single in the U.K. or anywhere else as far as I know. The B is a sax led instrumental that doesn't sound much like CCR and I can't find a mention for it anywhere; maybe it's not even them?

The record was out of its bag when it came to me but has cleaned up nicely. The A has a few surface marks, still nice and shiny and in very good condition. The B has more marks, still in good condition. 

There's run in crackle on the A and occasional slight crackle during play, nothing that spoils and it still sounds brilliant. B is a bit crunchy, but still sounds good. Very nice item for CCR and 60s acetate collectors.
