If you're not familiar with this artist/title, here's some additional information:"The evolution from blues to rock accelerated with the Rolling Stones' second American LP. They turned soul into guitar rock for the hits "It's All Over Now" and "Time Is on My Side" (the latter of which was their first American Top Ten single). "2120 South Michigan Avenue" is a great instrumental blues-rock jam; "Around and Around" is one of their best Chuck Berry covers; and "If You Need Me" reflects an increasing contemporary soul influence. On the other hand, the group originals (except for the propulsive "Empty Heart") are weak and derivative, indicating that the band still had a way to go before it could truly challenge the Beatles' throne".

The LP is a solid VG+ (8 of 10) in condition. There are a few light handling marks and one or two scuffs that do not effect the play of this great old mono pressing. Cover is also very nice for it's age - there is some slight corner softening and very minor ring and shelf wear - Nothing serious on this 45 year old LP!! Spine and seams are all solid with no cracks or splits.

Thanks for looking and Good Luck if you decide to bid.

Old Vinyl's Info ...

Our main ebay activity is selling vintage vinyl. We specialize in Jazz and Traditional Pop (50's and 60's), But, If we think it will sell .... we'll give it a whirl. We've been known to dabble in concert T shirts, Promo posters and new sealed cd's. We've been active on ebay for nearly 9 years now.

We pride ourself on accurate grading and sturdy packaging (never had an LP damaged in transit ... oh, they've tried ... but haven't succeded as of yet). Timely shipping ?? .... we ship only once per week, ... sometimes life interferes with ebay. Hope you understand!!

All of our LP's are shipped double boxed, with the record behind of the cover/jacket in a poly-sleeve for extra protection. All of our records are professionally cleaned on the VPI machine before shipping. There aren't enough hours in the day to play-grade LP's we rely on a VISUAL grade.

Grading is by the Goldmine standards as follows:

MINT (abbreviated as "M") ... A mint record should appear to have just left the manufacturer without any handling.

NEAR MINT (abbreviated as "NM") ,,, A Near Mint record appears Mint but has one or two tiny, inconsequential flaws that do not affect the play.

VERY GOOD PLUS (abbreviated as "VG+") ... A Very Good Plus record has been handled and played either infrequently or very carefully (this grade is sometimes referred to as "Excellent").

VERY GOOD (abbreviated as "VG") ... A Very Good record will display visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear, and spindle trails from countless spins on the turntable. May have audible surface noise.

GOOD (abbreviated as "G") ... A Good record has been well-played with any number of defects that collectors normally shy away from. However, a Good record should still be playable and listen-able!

FAIR (abbreviated as "F") ... A Fair record is any record or cover that does not qualify for a "Good" grading.
