1968 Mothers Records Records, 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM Stereo LP, Cat. #MRS 69 , First Pressing, White Label with Black Print. Featuring: Spanky Wilson (Produced by H.B. Barnum). Titled: "Spankin' Brand New". Song Titles Include: You're Gonna Miss Me, I've Waited A Long Time, Love Has Me By The Hand, The Other Girl, Mighty Great Feeling, Love Is Like An Old Man, On The Morning After, Sweetheart, Apartment 101, Tell Me Tonight and The Last Day Of Summer.

If you're not familiar with this artist/Title, here's some additional information: "Born in Philadelphia, PA, soul singer Spanky Wilson (a nickname she received as a child due to the spankings her father gave her when she behaved badly) joined the scene in the late '60s with recordings on Mothers Records, moving to Paris in 1985 to continue her career there. With collaborations with the like of the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Lalo Schifrin, Marvin Gaye, Willie Bobo, and Sammy Davis, Jr., along with her own solo work, Wilson became a DJ favorite all over the world, including in England, where musician and producer Will Holland (Quantic, Quantic Soul Orchestra) spent many years searching for her (she had moved to Los Angeles in 2000). In 2004 Holland finally found Wilson, and they worked together on two songs for Quantic's record, Mishaps Happening, leading to a full-length Wilson and QSO album, I'm Thankful, which came out in 2006 on Ubiquity".

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With Plain Paper Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The Shrink Is Intact and in excellent condition. The only issue to report: some very minor edge wear. Nothing serious on this nearly impossible to find 42 year old LP!!.
