CONDITION:

The record is pretty clean. It has seen some play but nothing that distracts and still has more to give. The labels are nice except for a pen mark on the A side and price sticker on the B side. The picture sleeve has some shelf wear but no writing. (See pics).

Dave Wyndorf on vocals later of monster magnet, looking like Johnny Ramone, on vocals. Future Ramones/Misfits/Murphy's Law producer Daniel Rey on guitar. Obscure trivia: in an old issue of Spider Man, peter parker takes a date (this cute blonde chick with glasses) to CBGB to see Shrapnel!


These guys opened for the Ramones at L'amour's East in Queens, NYC. Probably around 1982. The next day Johnny Ramone got the shit kicked out of him right after the show. He had to have brain surgery and almost died.

David Albert Wyndorf (October 28, 1956) is the songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist for the American rock group Monster Magnet. He is the frontman and only remaining original member of the band.


In the early 1980s he fronted a new wave band called Shrapnel, who recorded two 45 singles (Combat Love and Go Cruisin') and a five-song self-titled e.p.

During most part of the 1990s, Wyndorf and his band struggled for commercial success which they couldn't obtain because of their highly unfashionable retro-rock style. This changed in 1998, when Wyndorf took a 21-day trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, from which he drew inspiration to write the songs for Powertrip, which would be Monster Magnet's breakthrough album.[2] His life following the release of Powertrip was his inspiration for God Says No.
