Profile:

Bill Lincoln and Wesley Watt were a small combo rock band that became famous for their sought after capitol album 'gift from euphoria' as the band Euphoria.

They had a few different incarnations The Bushmen, War Babies, The Word and Euphoria.

Only one single was released on Brent records under 'The Word' and the song "so little time" packaged on the Bob Shad budget

series "Music for the Dance Crowd". They then became Euphoria while still with Bob Shad releasing further songs under Mainstream records

and that material released in Stereo on Mainstream's "Pot of Flowers' Compilation. Then going on to Capitol releasing their full length LP before

vanishing from the music scene. They maintain quite a few song writing credits including for the west coast rock band "East side Kids".

The Word was a short-lived L.A. combo that included Bill Lincoln and Hamilton Wesley Watt, both later of the more reknowned Euphoria. The Word also recorded a concurrent single under the name of the War-Babies.

This is another of those mournful, moody garage ballads that seemed to pop up on b-sides around 1965-66 and then disappeared in the wake of psychedelia.

Early effort by Bill Lincoln and Wesley Watt, the wonder duo from that capitol group EUPHORIA...(but euphoria did have their first single on Mainstream Pot Of Flowers Comp) No matter.. it's killer and has all the features of what they evolved into ..but this is 1965!! So Little time is the uptempo stomper, Now it's over, is the slower track , with all the angst and moodiness in the heartfelt whisper like singing..and even has cool embelishments courtesty of someone playing the Vibes. Mixed for radio in BIG MONO- Prototypical greatness!
