Hello. This is the Holy Grail of Power Records. These sets are so rare that the editor of the Power Records web site said he has never seen one in person! This set is even more rare because they didn't put in the Star Trek record. Instead, there is an added Batman record! I have owned this boxed set since buying it about 7 years ago. I seen where one sold at auction way back in 2012 and that had box wear as well and sold for $30.00 back then! I found that by Googling the title recently. Here are the records that make up my set...
The Amazing Spider-Man "The Mad Hatter Of Manhattan" #2284, The Amazing Spider-Man "The Abominable Snowman" #2283, Batman "The Scarecrow's Mirage" #2298, Flash & Aquaman Side 1 "The Tree Faces Of Mr. Big" Side 2 "The Defeat Of The Dehydrator" #2301, Batman "If Music Be The Food Of Death" #2293, Superman "P.O. Box 65" #2295, and Metamorpho & Plastic Man Side 1 "The Invasion Of The Plastic Men" Side 2 "Fumo The Fire Giant" #2302.
So Batman "The Scarecrow's Mirage" is the "oops" record. Below is the list of what should have came in this box set. These records are beautiful...NM/ Mint. The box shows wear with some tears, a small flap missing...but to have one in your collection is a must for collectors. I am willing to bet many of you reading this has never heard of or seen one.
