7" Vinyl Single:  THE WHITE STRIPES – Lord, Send Me an Angel b/w You're Pretty Good Looking (Trendy American Remix)

Sympathy for the Record Industry (SFTRI), 2000.  Made in the USA.  Vinyl is a see-through (i.e. transparent) red color.  See photo #3.  Produced & Recorded by Jack White.

I *might* have purchased this at a White Stripes concert merch table (I saw them ONCE at the Empty Bottle in Chicago).  Or, I purchased it at a record store.  Either way, I bought it to collect and it has never been played.  It has an outer plastic sleeve protecting the red, white and black front cover (and black & white rear cover - see photos 1 + 2).  Red vinyl 7" record is housed inside a white sleeve insert (see photo #3), the outer sleeve is one sheet of paper folded in half, so it really needs that white inner cover and clear plastic outer cover to keep it nice.

"Lord, Send Me an Angel" is a song by Blind Willie McTell of which two versions were recorded on September 19, 1933 in New York, with Curley Weaver on second guitar. Accompanied by his wife, Kate, McTell re-recorded it as "Ticket Agent Blues" in 1935, albeit with some alternate verses. This was used as the B-side to his single "Bell Street Blues" on Decca Records. The song was covered by Detroit, Michigan garage rock band, The White Stripes, which was released as a single in October 2000.

"The White Stripes was an American rock duo, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consisted of Jack White (songwriter, vocals, guitar, bass and keyboards) and Meg White (drums and occasional vocals), who were married from 1996 to 2000.[2][3] After releasing several singles and three albums within the Detroit music scene, the White Stripes rose to prominence in 2002, as part of the garage rock revival scene. Half a Cow! (US, UK, Australia) – you name it, I’ve probably got it.

AND keep checking back.  I’ve got some good, even GREAT stuff.  I’ve even got record stores calling me to sell my record collection for $500 – a buck a record, give or take.  I’d rather you guys have them at the price they’re worth.  I’m starting at $5 because that covers my cost and shipping and you get a great piece of vinyl.
