Here is a beautiful looking, and even better playing 7" U.S. Berliner 255. It is an anonymous piano solo entitled "Danse Unique." This is an upbeat tune (almost raggy). The announcement is interesting, and I quote exactly: "Piano Solo, Danse Unique, played by the Berliner Gramophone Company"
This single-sided 78rpm disc is in excellent (E) condition with plenty of surface shines. There are a couple of light surface scuffs and a few of the typical Berliner "dimples." It plays crystal clear, just unbelievable for a record that is nearly 113 years old! (rec. April 28, 1896)
