Description
Please note that this disc is a modern repressing or reproduction. A clean copy of an original disc has been used as a "father" or "master matrix" to make new tooling to create this modern version. Over the next several months I will be listing SEVERAL HUNDRED additional reproductions of the some of the most iconic, desirable and fun recordings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This listing is for the disc pictured, Victor Monarch A-62 "The Ravings of a Maniac" by the mysterious E. Hanlon. This is an incredibly odd recording, with Mr. Hanlon ranting and laughing in a crazy manner that would be well suited for Halloween. There is only one known original copy of this record, and there were only ~60 copies originally pressed. Here is your opportunity to own a playable copy, which can be played on modern equipment and also on vintage phonographs with steel needles. This disc has no label attached, the detail of the label is however still visible due to the ultra-high resolution of the materials used.
Shipping via media mail with tracking is $5 within the continental USA. International shipping is at cost, while USPS is the least expensive method it does not include tracking nor insurance.
