Super rare 70's surf soundtack lp....Wilt Chamberlain presents....Go For It!
The movie was released in the late 70's and looks at surfing as well as other extreme/action sports of the day such as skateboarding, skiing, hang gliding etc. The film features Larry Bertlemann, Tony Alva etc. As the title suggets, there's a connection with LA Lakers basketball legend Wilt Chamberlian...he's listed as a producer but I also think he might be the narrator as well? The album was produced by Denis Dragon, a notable musician of that time who has worked with several famous bands/artists and been involved in other soundtracks including George Greenough's legendary Innermost Limits of Pure Fun.

Just like The Innermost Limits...the music crosses genres from funk/disco, to soft rock, to harder guitar driven pyschedelic rock. The songs have been produced/recorded well and its a really good listen!
US pressing on the obscure safari label, with thick American style carboard cover. Again, this is a super rare record. Ive never seen or heard of another copy in Australia.
The cover is in (VG+) condition. A couple of corner bumps, some spotting, and writing on the back. Seams are solid and all graphics and writing are clear.
Vinyl is (Ex). Looks to have been played only a few times, clean glossy with some very faint sleeve scuffs. Sounds superb!
Labels are (Ex). Clean with no damage/wear.
All in all, a great playing or display copy of this super rare surf lp! Grab it while you can!
