78 RPM early, vintage APOLLO record from 1925? - Bassilios Andrea Kyros - this is a rare record.
Not too much is known about this record. Andrea Kyros was a Greek bass-baritone performing in the 1920s. The label on this record is highly suggestive of a Gennett personal record pressing. There are references to the Apollo theater as having Gennett personal recording numbers although the label is slightly different. Please note: the songs are sung in English.

From the internet: http://78data.com/ge-personal-series/ shows personal recording 20077 and 20079 with 20078 missing. I believe this is that record. The website also shows other recordings by Kyros on the Apolo (sic) label.
Rates E, very clean and shiny, slight scuffing and scratches, beginning of a short stress crack - played cleanly and clearly on my Dual 1218 turntable.
My grading scale is not complicated. Mint (M, M-) means like new with only the slightest of scuffing. Excellent (E, E+, E-) means minor scuffs, scrapes, label wear, light scratches that do not affect the play. Good (G, G+, G-) means scuffing, scraping, scratches, acceptable playing with noticible noise. I try not to sell records that are warped or that skip unless noted. These are records I have picked up while expanding my own record collection.
I pack very carefully with cardboard reinforcement, bubble wrap and sturdy boxes. I combine shipping on multiple purchases where possible.
