Very nice copy of Silvertone with a pair of Birmingham, Alabama blues sides by Bertha Ross recorded on a 1927 Gennett field trip and released as by Aretha Martin. Piano accompaniment by Vance Patterson with uncredited whistling. Deep South sound, not vaudeville or classic female blues. From the Ken Swerilas collection.
