RARE 23500 SERIES. According to the Victor file cards listing in 78 Quarterly #5, this record sold 3955 copies.
The record is E-. A hard record to grade because grooves show little or no wear and surface is bright and glossy with a few light scuffs, but there's app. a two inch strip on edge of each side of what looks to be slight heat damage or possibly a pressing defect. The area causes some moderate rubbing or thumping below the level of the music for app 20 grooves. Otherwise the record is E.
Records are graded visually. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. I use the VJM grading system--N, N-, E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G, F, P. My highst grade is E+ unless the record is known to be store stock. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
78s will be properly packed and shipped in a box with cardboard squares and bubble wrap, not a record mailer.
