Vocalion 2541
This is a 78 RPM recording on the Vocalion label featuring Clarence Williams and His Orchestra. The group consisted of Ed Allen (cornet), Cecil Scott (clarinet), Clarence Williams (piano, vocal), Floyd Casey (washboard). Both sides were recorded on August 18, 1933.
On Side A is "Beer Garden Blues." Novelty dance.
On Side B is "Breeze." Novelty dance. Vocal Chorus by Clarence Williams.
Visually this record is a very good condition, a predominantly clean and glossy surface with some light scuffs and scratches. The labels are in excellent condition. The visual rating for this record would be V+ / V+. Please view the photographs below.
Audibly the record is play graded V+ / V. There is moderate surface noise but the music plays quite well over the noise.
