Description

ARTIST:  Clarence Williams' Orchestra
LABEL:   Okeh 8592
TITLES:  Mountain City Blues / Lazy Mama
CONDITION:  E
DESCRIPTION:

Terrific Clarence Williams Orchestra sides from June 1928 with King Oliver on the session - he solos on "Mountain City Blues".  These orchestra sides capture the Clarence Williams style at its best - melodic, well arranged medium tempo jazz with well placed solos.  Glossy copy with small edge flake not near grooves - no impact.  Music clear and bright with quiet background.
