Description
Silvertone 25107
Lyst Reynolds Dance Orchestra / Bob Deikman's Dance Orchestra
What Do We Do on a Dew-Dew-Dewy Day / Show Me That Kind of a Girl
Condition: V
Notes: Both sides were recorded electrically in Gennett's Richmond, Indiana studio in mid-1927. Both sides are good! The Lyst Reynolds side has hot trumpet and piano solos. Two obscure but excellent midwest territory bands. Surfaces are rough and a bit grainy, but with my 3.0 mil stylus, the sound is quite decent. No major digs or scratches, just even wear.
Thanks for looking! Please see my other auctions for more 78s from the 1920s and '30s. Combine wins to save on shipping!
A word about packing and shipping: I have been buying and selling 78s by mail for over 20 years. I know how to pack for safe delivery. (I sandwich the record between several sturdy cardboard squares and pack in a box with plenty of foam peanuts.) My shipping fee includes the cost of proper packing materials. I will gladly combine records to save you money on shipping. If you will be bidding on more than one of my record auctions, please use the "request invoice" feature when you are finished so I know to send you a combined shipping invoice.
I welcome bidders from outside the USA. All international shipments will be by eBay's "Global Shipping" program.
