Description

      This auction is for a 78 RPM cardboard picture record from the U.S. Information Agency titled "Africa In The New World". It samples African music in the new world including styles from New Orleans, Spirituals and the music of William Grant Still. Pictured but not heard are Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ray Brown, Louis Jordon, Ella Fitzgerald and the Howard University Choir. The colors on the record are bright and vibrant and it plays with only very minor surface noise. It even comes in its original envelope.
