Notes: Puttin On the Ritz was written by Irving Berlin in 1930 for the film of the same name, but has never lost its popularity. Used later on by everyone from Mel Brooks to a disco version!. One of the depression era's most popular tunes and one of its most recognizable songs. This tune is popular even today for listening and for those into dances of the 1920s and 1930s. This copy features some hot passages and is in the original Oriole sleeve which tells how the record was made exclusively for Mc Crory Stores.
