Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst (our sister 78 record ebay names) is E+ (NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 6" box. We have had less then 5 problems with damage on 5400 records shipped so far. Peter
78RPM 12" RCA Victor DM 1020 Tchaikovsky Nutcracker Suite 3 record Set by the Philadelphia Orch. with Eugene Ormandy nice E- maybe better This rare circa 1945 3 record set of 12" shellac 78s is in an overall above average E- condition. I checked all 6 sides--s1 E-, s6 E to E-, s2 E-, s5 E-, s3 V+ to E- worst flaw in set is a barely feelable scratch at 1pm--may not even be audible, s4 E- This set is nice clean above average, well kept, glossy E- with a light to mild wear and mostly benign mild marks and blemishes and surfacy non-feelable scratches, no notable or any big flaws I saw anywhere. This set was probably acquired by my dad 6-7 decades ago and put on a shelf and he never played it--the only reason he even kept/got it--was that it was in nice shape. He likes Jazz not classical. See my 8 photos --you can see by the photos --the quality/condition is a clean nice above average condition, only have 1 of this. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light wear. The album jacket/ set has mild to medium wear, the album is clean, solid, sturdy E- ish,. The album is well connected to the sleeves and covers, sleeves have mild wear--many times the weight wears on bottom of sleeve edges--these are OK, small stains/ age spots? on inside cover-see my photos.
