Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst (our sister record ebay names) is  E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V,   V- and Poor. strict grading   Packing  We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.
  78RPM Decca 8650 (rare race series) Harlem Hamfats, DIRTY pimp / prostitution type lyrics on both songs Why Don't You Do Now or also titled Weed Smoker's Dream (same song as the Decca 7234 (also have that one on ebay) matrix 90915) / Sales Tax on It (sex) V- / V to V+ to V  This rare c1936 record is an average maybe bit worse-- stressed grooves V- on the Why Don't (Weed) side -I listened to the whole side and it played through fine on my mediocre player--it gets staticy (for a few seconds) when it hits the stressed grooves (see pixs)--not all the time but there are some staticy parts-- not all real bad--varying degrees of noise/static, there is what looks like a surface fracture--I don't think it is (not affect play) on the Sales side--looks like a line going parallel to edge (chip?)--see nothing on the other side--surfacy if anything--I couldnt get a picture of it---wouldn't break unless you handled it roughly and you never handle a 78 roughly -cause they'll all break--especially 1943-50 78s, no other big or notable flaws, just the heavy wear parts I spoke of, the Sales side looks visibly clean Vish--no big wear I see on the Sales side, see my 12 photos above to judge the surfaces for yourself.  Graded visually. Just  Spindle holes and labels have little to mild wear- (see pixs).  Will be in the vintage sleeve it has been stored in for 7 decades. This comes from the great big Bill Korst Jazz collection.
