My rating system is:
M=mint (M- is the most typical usage meaning item shows signs of very little use),
E=excellent (light surface wear and maybe one or two small scratches. May have a couple of small worn areas (more for E-)),
V=Very Good (some scratches and wear, but still has decent sound, average to slightly above average graying of grooves),
G=good (worn, playable, but really for a must have, significant graying with blasting).
I do not sell records in poor condition unless they are very rare.

NOTE: My rating system does not include the condition of the label. That is why I include a picture of the label. If one side of a label is grossly different than the one pictured, I will mention that in the description, but I still will not account for that in the grading. Please review my feedback to see what other record buyers have said about my grading.

All items are VISUALLY graded and the sound clip is there to aid in quality verification. We do not fiddle with the sound clip, so what you hear is what I get. Each sound reproduction system is different in quality, so grading is only accurate for my system which uses a simple amplifier and an Esoteric turntable with a Stanton 500 Stylus. The clips will include some surface noise since my system does not record through an equalizer. The vertical component is still there so it is quite possible that the record may sound even better on your system. We can not accurately grade records to play on your system so please do listen to the clip to verify the sound quality achieved on our system. See our return policy below for more information. Some records may be noted as "Needs Cleaning". We do a general wipe of each record but do not do a complete cleaning as many different users prefer their own method of cleaning.

All invoicing will be done on Thursdays unless items are ending on the weekend. Please do not request an invoice. You will get one on Thursday evening.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

There is now a $1.00 materials fee per order for up to 2 records. If you order more than 2 records, it is a $1.50 Materials Fee. We are now purchasing better boxes for multiple record orders and the boxes are a bit more expensive. This fee is strictly to cover materials and not intended as profit.

If you spend more than $100 on my records, I will pay for your shipping.

Combining shipping: This is an evolving policy. Our NEWEST policy is as follows: Combining shipping is at the discretion of the seller and is typically reserved for regular customers and some International Customers. When you receive an invoice, a deadline for payment will be included. If you win items in the following week, your invoice will not include the previous wins. You MUST pay the total amounts in BOTH invoices. If we are able to combine the orders, we will refund the extra shipping cost to you with your items in US cash. We are continuing to work at a process that will better suit your needs and will continue to adapt our policies as needed.

Shipping rates will now be quoted at the NEW MEDIA MAIL rates. If you want the records quoted at Priority Mail rates, you will have to send a message after you receive your initial invoice.

Quantity weights with packing material (quantities and weights are for 10 inch records. Other sizes will vary in weight):

Up to

2 records = 2 pounds ($1.84)

3 records = 3 pounds ($2.26)

5 records = 4 pounds ($2.68)

6 records = 5 pounds ($3.10)

8 records = 6 pounds ($3.52)

We have a fantastic track record for shipping these items. The records are surrounded in bubble wrap and then enclosed in two pieces of strong cardboard which are then taped shut. The item is then surrounded by either shipping foam or styrofoam peanuts and then placed in a box designed specifically for shipping 78rpm records. Our success rate is over 99.8%. Using this method we are able to streamline our process and not charge a handling fee for U.S. shipping, merely the materials fee. We will gladly ship the records in whatever manner you specify for a $5.00 handling fee.

Attention::: We WILL ship this item internationally..

International shipping carries an automatic $2.00 handling fee to cover cost plus any extra postal charges ($1.00 Canada). We will not ask you to send extra money for underquoted shipping cost unless it is more than this fee.

All items shipped internationally will have the appropriate customs information filled out. The value of the item will be the amount of the item at the end of the auction. Please do not ask us to undervalue the item or list it as a "gift" as we will not do so.

Return Policy: Items that are to be returned must first be authorized for return. Once authorized, the item(s) must be shipped back Media Mail with insurance and the same box and shipping materials should be used. This is the only method that will be paid for by Lutonium Records. Please refer to the section above concerning grading. Records are accurately graded for our system only. If it does not play well on your system, it is not considered 'under-graded' and is not eligible for refund. Please consider this point carefully and use the sound clip to your advantage. We spend many hours creating the sound clips and encourage you to use them in evaluating the item(s) for sale. We do not offer partial refunds.

Payment Policies:We accept Money Orders, Personal checks, and US Cash. Money Orders and Electronic Funds Transfers receive immediate attention (less than 3 days in most cases). Items paid for by personal check are held 10 BUSINESS DAYS (2 weeks) from receipt of payment based on recommendation from our bank. Return customers who have previously paid by personal check will receive preferred status and typically do not wait the full 2 weeks.

We also accept payments through Bidpay and C2IT, NO PAYPAL. Fees are senders responsabilities. Good Luck!!! SERIOUS BIDDER ONLY PLEASE!
