Description
Here for the avid rock & roll fans is a lovely pair of 78s. On UK London, this is Jerry Lee Lewis & Clyde McPhatter. Clyde was once a member of Billy Ward & The Dominoes, then The Drifters, recording some superb R&B. Clyde`s departure from The Drifters saw him still recording some hit numbers and we have one of those here. Much has been written about wild man Jerry Lee Lewis, from his rise to the top of the charts to his marriage to his young cousin Myra. Jerry Lee still recorded some great records, despite the media treatment of him and we still have his live footage at hand to remember this crazy southern cat. The disc we have here is one of the biggest hits he recorded. Both of these records are in jolly nice condition. So now, lets see the titles; 1) Clyde McPhatter-The Treasure Of Love/When You`re Sincere 2)Jerry Lee Lewis-Great Balls Of Fire/Mean Woman Blues And there you have an incredible pair of 78s to add to your collection. Choose these and remember two of the most influential names in R&B and rock & roll. Dig the 1950s Dig shellac NOTE;78 dealers approx asking price:£50.00 upwards.
