Grade: V/V-

Description: Very rare 12" Edison sample record for dealers. Most of the ones I've seen are numbered, however this one is not. The condition is marginal. While I don't see anything that would keep the record from playing, there is evident greying more so on the A-side (see pictures). There is also a very long scratch on the A-side. B-side has some spotty/hazy staining. Unfortunately I don't have the equipment to play-grade. Please let me know if you have any questions. We'll also have a few needle cuts on next months vmauctions list so be sure to check there.

Update: Wanted to add that grading on this item was completely done visually. It's graded how I would normally grade a 78 by sight with wear. I've been made aware that the grooves on the long play Edisons are more fragile than those on normal diamond discs. I can't play-grade it so there is a real possibility that it does not play correctly (more so on the A-side where there is visible groove wear).
