This auction is for Ebony Records 78rpm #1008 "Romance-Time" Vocal Novelty Dance by Tab Smith and His Orchestra with Robie Kirk and the Ruppert-Aires / "Tabs Rocker" (Instrumental Dance) by Tab Smith and His Orchestra. Ebony was a small Chicago label. This record is unplayed store stock that I bought about 15 years ago, from the stock of a record store that had been open since the 1940s. This is an original pressing from the 1950s. I would grade this as Excellent or better - I doubt it has ever been played and the vinyl is shiny. I'll describe any minor problems: LABEL: a couple small, light marks near the spindle hole on the Romance side, a light mark above the "B" in Ebony that runs diagonally to down below "An Ebony Artists Production". RECORD: some light scuffs, a very light imperfection in the wax across the record on the Tabs Rocker side. A HARD-TO-FIND SMALL CHICAGO LABEL! Postage is $4.00.
