Description

Offered to bid are a total of 8- Hopalong Cassidy 78 Rpm Story Records for children all with jackets and in playable condition.  Here they are individually listed:

1.  Hopalong Cassidy, America’s Most Beloved Cowboy, 1 record 2 stories- Hoppy’s Good Luck Coin & The Legend of Phantom Scout Pass.  Record very good, little wear, no chips, cracks , scratches.  Jacket has 3 seam tears- Bottom center 7”, right 3”, left 1”; jacket remarkable, picture of “Hoppy” on back.  

2.  Hopalong Cassidy and The mail Train Robbery, 1 story 1 record.  Record very good, no chips, cracks, or scratches, little wear.  Jacket has seem tears, 1 left side 4” ending with ½” inward tear, Bottom 1½”, right seem top down 7”; printing exceptional.  1 stray pencil mark front (price), no other stray marks.

3.  Hopalong Cassidy and Haunted Gold Mine, 1 story 1 record; very good condition, no chips, cracks, or scratches, little wear.  Jacket excellent, has some edge tears- Left side top down 7”, Bottom 2” in center at record; right side top down 2”.  At 60+ years, jacket’s in remarkable shape, stray pencil mark back.

4.  Hopalong Cassidy and The Haunted Gold Mine, 1 story 1 record; 2nd copy of No. 3 record; as good or better than No. 3 record, much better for jacket, has 1 right edge tear top down  1” then inward 1”. 

5.  Hopalong Cassidy and The Story of Topper, 1 story 1 record.  Record very good, little wear.  Jacket excellent printing aspect; 3 small edge tears- Left top down 1” meets a previous repair, Bottom 1” tear in center at record; right edge tear top down 2”.  This jacket is remarkable for 60+ years; no chips, cracks, or scratches; 1 stray pencil mark (115) on back, none on front .

6.  Hopalong Cassidy and The Two-Legged Wolf, 1 story 1 record.  Record very good, no chips, cracks, or scratches, little wear.  Jacket printing excellent, 3 edge tears- Left top down 1”; Bottom 1” tear in center at record, right top down 7½”.  2 stray marks, front is the word “Punk” (red ink), back has 115 in pencil.

7.  Hopalong Cassidy and The Big Ranch Fire, 1 story 1 record.  Record is in very good like new condition and the jacket is exceptional having one small 2” seem tear at the bottom where the record sits and not chips, cracks, or scratches on the record not stray marks on the jacket.

8.  Hopalong Cassidy, Billy & The Bandit, 1 story 1 record, good, wrinkled jacket and seem tears- Left of 5” & 3”; left 3 tears- 2” near top, 5” and 1½” near corner; 1 across bottom.  Top Rt. missing 2” of corner.
