You are bidding on a 7” VINYL record in MINT condition.
The Stone Roses – Waterfall / One Love UK 7” vinyl. [Silvertone Records, cat number ORE 35]
With thin card picture sleeve, there are two promotional stickers on the front cover.
RECORD CONDITION: Most of the records that I sell are what people call ‘new, old stock’ that is to say they have been sitting around in protected storage for years and consequently don’t have general wear and tear you might normally expect to see when buying off other sellers. No grubby finger marks or frayed sleeve edges here. All of the records I am selling in this batch are in Mint/Near Mint condition, many have promo stickers on the covers (hence Near Mint), the vinyl is amazingly clean and there are no spindle marks to indicate that a record has been played. Rarely do I sell records on eBay, I am just testing the waters here, so this is very rare opportunity to grab some genuinely top quality vinyl, collectors call this vinyl ‘Final Purchase’ meaning that they wont ever need to look for a replacement in better condition.
PROMO STICKERS: If this record has a promo sticker (see photos) then I would advise not to remove it if you have never done that before. Most of these stickers are held-on with very tough glue and you may damage the sleeve by removing it. If you must remove a sticker get some advice (eg see YouTube) where examples of peeling with solvents or using warm irons can be found.
PAYMENT: All payments within seven days, thank you. Unpaid items are automatically chased by eBay and may result in your account being blocked or suspended.
POSTAGE: A proof of posting receipt is always obtained and the package marked to deter light-fingered posties. Royal Mail is now getting expensive and insurance coverage is dropping, there is not much to be gained from combining items anymore since bulky packages cost much more and when the value of the package increases I need to pay extra to cover insurance. I will decide if items are to be put into one package. UK postage £1.80, Europe £3.00
PACKAGING: All records sent with cardboard stiffeners. If the record has a picture sleeve then the vinyl will be sent in a paper bag to avoid splitting edges on the picture sleeve in transit, note that the paper bag may be an old used one but its only packaging so don’t get upset about it (Mr Spanish buyer who leaves negative feedback, I’m doing you a favour, dimwit).
