Another piece of Hungarian Folk from the estate of Peter Bartok, son of Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.


2 complete box sets containing compilations of Hungarian Folk music. These sets are likely one of the most complete collections on vinyl format. 8 LPs in total along with the booklets.
Vinyls are EX to NM, with a heavy lean towards the NM rating. They look fantastic with just some loose specks of dust from the paper sleeves. I didn't notice any paper scuffs or any marks of note. They look like they could be un-played.
Covers are VG+ or VG++. Volume 1 has a small sticker spot that pulled up the black cover top right corner. See pictures. Volume 2 has a larger sticker damage to the top right. The minor damage to the artwork at the bottom of Vol2 partially punctured the cover, so this pushes it closer to VG. Thankfully, nothing inside the box was damaged. The spine is also a bit faded compared to Vol 1. Not from sun damage, but they used a different shade of fabric wrapping. Speaking of fabric wrapping, all corners are solid except bottom right corner of Vol1 is beginning to tear. Still sturdy, but just be careful not to further damage it.

We have been given the great privilege of acquiring the musical collection of Peter Bartok, son of famed composer Bela Bartok. We will slowly be selling several hundred titles, test pressings, and acetates from the Bartok estate over the coming months.
