ARTIST: LORRY RAINE was a jazzy female singer, very unknown today, only 10 singles and EP found on discogs and no bio details. Releases should be from 1950 to 1956.CONDITION: VINYL: shellac all used and little bit warped at end but no effect on play. Cleaned from dust, but if cleaned better should produce cleaner sound and prevent skips.
SOUND: I played each record. They all play solid, background noise is present! Orchestra dominates the sound if recorded louder, but quiet parts have SHHH and tick sounds heard! OVERALL SOLID PLAY for 78 rpm standards - G+
COVER JACKET: Original old sleeve called recordvelope. Some great VG condition and few with sides torn. G++
SHELLAC TENDS TO BREAK VERY EASILY! Always take in with 2 hands when placing it!
