Description

Released by Island in 1969, cat # ILPS 9111; this is “In The Court Of The Crimson King” by King Crimson.

 

This is the first pressing on the pink Island label. Matrix numbers are A2/B4.

 

The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. There is a tiny bit of writing on the rear of the sleeve – see picture. Inside of the gatefold is nice and clean with no damage. The seams /spine have some wear, but no splitting.

 

The record has a couple of small issues. 1. There is a small scratch at the start of track 2, side 1 that pops for 30 seconds or so. 2. There is a surface mark across “Moonchild” that does not affect play. However, there is the odd pop and crackle through “Moonchild”. The record has been professionally cleaned and other than the defects noted plays nicely and warrants a very good grading.

 

Postage and packing will be £2.98 for First Class (recorded) for UK customers. European customers will pay £3.85 airmail and USA and the Rest of the World customers will pay £6.96 airmail.

 

Payment by Paypal is preferred and is the only option for overseas customers. UK customers can pay by traditional means if required. Payment is required within three days of the end of the auction.

 

All of my records are packed properly and securely to ensure they arrive with you in the same condition they leave me. Records are removed from inner sleeves before packing to avoid seam splits and all items are placed within a polythene sleeve for protection.
