This very obscure & classic album created by the San Francisco  electrified psychedelic band Day Blindness in 1969 ... every track features melodic shapes amid the accents of driving fuzzy guitars & gushing organ, not unlike The Maze as referenced by their album "Armageddon" (USA MTV Records) 
The lengthy tracks by DAY BLINDNESS are fronted by a popular "heavy coolness" vocal style similar to the "heavy coolness tones as well as formations of music which can be attributed to the loose Day Blindness influences of both Iron Butterfly & The Doors. Now if that perks up your minds-eye, then it should. While Day Blindness are not The Doors, having them support the Doors in concert would probably be criticized as too much of a good thing. Peaking on the 12:30 long track "Holy Land" is Gary Pihl a competent acid ballroom / acid-glazed guitarist whom is all over the albums contents.
The Day Blindness album can be found and should always be included in books who are all about the topics concerning sixties collectible LP recordings. The Studio 10 label DAY BLINDNESS was signed to was nothing more than a local San Francisco label who sometimes released records by local talents ...In their off and on history, there were only TEN releases by the label and only 3 of the 10 bore full length albums; Day Blindness Lp was one of the three full albums that Studio 10 released. Studio 10 had nugget; a psychedelic sixties dream that came true for record collectors up around the bend of time.
