Description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS                  VINCE GUARALDI TRIO                            SEALED LP                          FANTASY 8431                                         ALBUM CONDITION - SEALED AND NEVER PLAYED SO GOT CALL IT NEAR MINT TO MINT
THE COVER  - IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN - SEE PICS - THERE IS A BIT OF A BUMP AT THE OPENING AND WHAT I BELIEVE IS THE INNER SLEEVE POKING OUT A LITTLE BIT.
I THINK THIS IS A REISSUE BETWEEN 1973 AND 1978 BASED ON WHAT I FOUND ON THE INTERNET (SEE RED PRINT BELOW) AND THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO BARCODE ON THE RECORD- BUT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION AND I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE UNLESS I OPENED THE LP TO EXAMINE THE LABEL- WHICH I DIDN'T WANT TO DO.

INFORMATION I FOUND ON THE INTERNET
Reissued between 1973 and 1978 with 2nd edition brown Fantasy labels (without the stylized orange "F" watermark in the background).

"FANTASY RECORDS, BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA" is shown in white text along the bottom edge of the label.

Cat# is shown as "8431" on front and back covers, as well as spine. On labels, both sides, Cat# is shown as "F 8431" with "(F-2534)" below.
                                         and
A CHARLIE BROWN                      CHRISTMAS - READ-ALONG BOOK & RECORD                              (7 inch record that plays at 33 1/3 rpm)                                                  READ-ALONG BOOK AND RECORD - VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION (record actually close to near mint)                         play-tested and played excellent - a charming story by Mr. Schulz)

IF YOU WIN MORE THAN ONE AUCTION I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING.  I can ship 1 to 4 records for $4.00 via Media Mail using a nice brand new LP mailer.  If you do win more than one auction please wait for an invoice from me before paying so I can combine the shipping.

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

NEAR MINT-Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS-The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully.  On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD-Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD-Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR-Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
