Very limited quantities released, it's the first and only vinyl record of this prodigous
brazilian acoustic guitar virtuose. It won't figure in any rare records list because
just a few people have it. If you lose this opportunity, you won't have a second chance.

About DARCY VILLA VERDE
Legendary classic and popular acoustic guitar player. He studied with Oswaldo Soares, pupil of Josefina Robledo. He was a big hit on the 70's, solding out on theaters all over the country, performing on the best tv shows as "Flavio Cavalcanti", "Concertos para a Juventude" and the becoming "Fantastico". In the 80's he moved to the United States and ended up forgotten in Brazil. He only recorded one EP, that had just a few pressings, wich sold out quickly. Hear the four tracks and check out his stunning guitar playing. Pay attention to "A Felicidade", in wich he does percussive efects on the guitar strings that sound like a perfect samba school. This is a record from his youth, recorded in 1962, when he was almost 18. His career really developed after that, winning a contest in Paris (ORTF - Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française) and playing all over the world, as in Carnegie Hall (New York) and Bolshoi (Moscow). The good news is that Darcy recorded enough material for two cd's two years ago. Just scholar songs with that technical perfection that astonishes the most exigent audience. The are no release dates, probably it will take a long time. One day this treasure will become public.
