Description

Rare original preowned DEEP GROOVE MONO pressing of A Jazz Delegation From The East Chambers' Music, recorded in March of 1956 on the SCORE label in Hollywood with Paul Chambers on bass, Philly Joe Jones on drums, John Coltrane on tenor (when the Miles Davis Quintet was performing at the Blackhawk in San Francisco) and Kenny Drew on piano.  If you enjoy acoustic bass, this album is a must.  The liner notes say that in order to pick up the full range of Chambers' bass, two microphones were used.  One was attached to the tail-piece of the instrument and the other was placed in front of the sound holes.  This record is in Very Good Plus condition, while the cover is Good with tape around the seams plus normal wear on the front and back photographs.
