Description

Based on Vikram Seth's 1300-page book following the fortunes of four large families, the six-part series is directed by Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding) and adapted for the screen by Andrew Davies (War and Peace, Pride and Prejudice). The series was created by an almost exclusively all-Indian cast and crew, and the main roles featured Tanya Maniktala (Lata), Ishaan Khattar (Maan), Mahira Kakkar (Mrs. Mehra), Danesh Razvi (Kabir), Namit Das (Haresh).

The score was composed by Alex Heffes with Anoushka Shankar, a world-renowned sitar player. Previously paired on Mira Nair's 2016 Disney Film Queen Of Katwe.
