I am a private record collector.  All my records are kept upright, out of direct sunlight, and in a smoke free environment, and generally inside the original packaging used to ship to me.

You can rest assured the record will be protected during shipping, below is roughly my process for packaging:

• ·         Oversize cardboard goes on either side of the album
• ·         Corners of the cardboard are taped down for extra protection and to securely hold record within cardboard
• ·         A 14" x 14" x 2" (35.5cm x 35.5cm x 5cm) box is used
• ·         A layer of bubble wrap goes down inside box
• ·         The cardboard sandwiched album is placed on top of bubble wrap
• ·         A second layer of bubble wrap is placed over the cardboard sandwich before sealing the box
